ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION-A

The primary mission of the Trophy Club Economic Development Corporation 4A (EDC 4A) is to provide assistance/guidance in acquiring, constructing, operating, repairing, and making improvements to public recreational areas for the Town of Trophy Club as defined in Section 4A of the Economic Development Act.

The EDC 4A each year will seek to provide a strategy in conjunction with the Parks/Recreation Committee and town staff to expend funds generated by the 1/2-cent sales tax (passed by the citizens of Trophy Club in May of 2000). The EDC 4A is established by the Economic Development Act. The Town Council appoints the members of the EDC 4A.

EDC 4A meets at 6:00 p.m. on the 4th Monday of each month at the Svore Municipal Building. The agenda is posted on the door of the Svore Municipal Building 72 hours in advance of the meeting.

Residents who are interested in serving may obtain an Application at the Town Offices in the Svore Municipal Building or by clicking Boards and Commission Application* or the Advisory Group Application*. The Planning and Zoning Commission* requires a supplemental application.
